GIBSON Minnie Mayes


Mrs. Minnie Gibson, of Berkeley and formerly of Doe Run, danghter of the late Andrew and Amanda Geissler Mayes, was born April 20, 38813 in St. Francois county and passed away at Berkeley on Saturday, November 7, 1964. She was aged 71 years, six months and 17 days at the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband Patrick J. Gibson and the following four daughters: Mrs. Dora Boyd and Mrs. Ruth Starz, of St. Louis; Mrs. Annabelle Herzog, Route One, Weingarten; and Mrs. Florence Zimmer, Doe Run; one son. Patrick Gibson, St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. Lena Hodges, Potosi; also 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Pendleton Church, Due Run, Interment was in the church cemetery with Miller Services in charge.

Mrs. Minnie Gibson, wife of Patrick J. Gibson of near Doe Run, died in Berkeley, Mo., Saturday, Nov. 7, 1964, at the age of 76 years. She was born in St. Francois County, Mo., on April 20, 1888, a daughter of the late Andrew Mayes and Amanda Geissler Mayes.
She is survived by her husband and five children,: Mrs. Dora Boyd, Mrs. Ruth Starz and Patrick Gibson, all of the St. Louis area; Mrs. Annabelle Herzog of Weingarten Route 1, and Mrs. Florence Zimmerman of Doe Run; also 16 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Lena Hodges of Potosi.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m., at the Pendleton Church in Doe Run, with burial in the Pendleton Cemetery. Miller Funeral Service.
