Theodore Ray “T. R.” Twomey
Theodore Ray “T. R.” Twomey, 90, of Desloge and formerly of Frankclay died June 17, 1998, at his residence.
He was born October 22, 1907, in Iron County near Caledonia.
Twomey was a bible student for many years and was baptized in April of 1957.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. and Eliza (Davis) Twomey, one daughter Delores, and several sisters and brothers.
Twomey is survived by three daughters, Gwen (Mrs. Karl) Helms of Desloge, Hazel (Mrs. Ivan) Wood of Decatur, Ill., and Phyllis (Mrs. Charlie) Harris of Quapaw, Okla., seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Cl. Boyer and on Funeral Home in Desloge.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Cl. Boyer and Son Funeral Chapel in Desloge, with Rev Edwin Hunter officiating. Burial will be at Marvin Chapel Cemetery.

He was born October 22, 1907, in Iron County, near Caledonia, MO, son of the late, John B. and Eliza (Davis) Twomey. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Delores; and several sisters and brothers.
Mr. Twomey was a bible student for many years and was baptized in April of 1957.
He is survived by three daughters: Gwen (Mrs. Karl Helms) of Desloge, Hazel (Mrs. Ivan Wood) of Decatur, IL, and Phyllis (Mrs. Charlie Harris) of Quapaw, OK; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will start today at 7 p.m. at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel with Rev. Edwin Hunter officiating.
Burial will be in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery.
